GAME LAB
Game Production Lab is a team-based class where students will create compelling experiences using increasingly complex, open-ended technology. Students will learn to work within a simulated, professional environment using relevant tools and game engines. By the end of the course, each team will have created an original, playable game experience of professional-level quality.
Cosmic Combat
1 to 4 Combatants from across our galaxy compete in sports of strength and agility to become the next Galactic Gladiator. This sporting event is revered across the galaxy and is broadcast once every decade to determine the next pantheon of Galactic Gladiators.

Death Bloom: Arveado’s Final Chapter

Drosera is a semi-procedural 3D dungeon-crawling game featuring a team of space explorers as they harvest resources from colonies of plant-like alien creatures in a series of linear caverns that serve as the game’s levels.

123 Date With Me
2019 - Creative Director: Abigail Hrbacek
You are a senior at Elwood High that’s never had a single date. Now, you’re desperate to get a date to homecoming. With a little help with some friends, you’ll do whatever it takes to find the one. 123 Date with Me is a dating simulator that parodies educational media such as PBS Shows and point-and-click games for preschoolers. Talk, date, play microgames, and maybe learn something along the way in this visual novel.
Jetpack Penguin
2019 - Creative Director: Phuong Huynh
Jetpack Penguin is 3D 3rd-Person Platformer where you play as a penguin named Pluck who uses a jetpack to collect trophies, defeat enemies, and navigate the world. It’s inspired by games like Super Mario Sunshine and uses jetpack mechanics and sliding physics to encourage fast and smooth gameplay. Jump, slide, and fly to new heights as you find ice clusters to power up your ship!
The Atoll
2019 - Creative Director: Ellie Goyer
The Atoll is a game centered in an incredibly small, archipelagic community in the classical era in which the player acts as a member of the community, a sailor, whose role is the facilitation of the tiny economy by ferrying materials, goods, and information between its members. Complicating this operation is the geographic remoteness of these tradespeople and an increasingly hostile ocean climate. The game is delivered in an elegant textureless, toon-shaded style which accentuates its generous approach to form and light.
Group Project Simulator
2019 - Creative Director: Mariah Armstrong
Group Project Simulator is a management game where the player must complete a group project with a group familiar to anyone who has been part of a group project. The player must work to manage them by completing a series of minigames that will hopefully culminate in a good grade.
Kai Jr
2019 - Creative Director: Dylan Burton
KaiJr is a competitive party game where multiple players control baby Kaiju that eat and destroy their way to massive size, and then battle it out over the city they demolish together. By balancing their search for food, power, and fighting their opponents, one KaiJr will be the crowned and greatest KaiJr of all.
Soul Horizons

Maintain the elemental balance in the world by creating harmony and increasing your prowess as a Soul Hunter. As you explore, increase your abilities, skills, and define your identity to become the world’s champion. Use your customized spells and soul transformations to defeat enemies and encounters.
